Discovery Night October 2024 (date change to the 24th)

Join us at our October 24th Discovery Night!

My memories of Romania presented by Oak Ridges Trail Association member, Daniela Bezede.

Discover some of the most stunning mountain landscapes, the history of Transylvania’s major medieval cities, and learn about authentic cuisine and unique traditions of my native country. You will hear about Transylvania’s vampires, scary castles and Dracula’s castle. A region worth being explored and discovered.

IMPORTANT – Discovery Night is typically the fourth Thursday but we have changed the date for October to avoid Halloween. We hope you can join us on the 24th.

Discovery Night is a social evening with speakers and presentations from here at home and around the world.

Location: Ballantrae Community Centre. 5592 Aurora Rd, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 7X3
Cost: $10 at the door helps to defray the cost of the hall and refreshments
What to Bring: Lug your own mug and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome. Open to members and the general public.
Time: 7-9pm
