Caution Advisory – Oak Ridges Trail Conditions

Dear Trail Users,

Due to the recent ice and windstorm, we advise all trail users to exercise caution while on the Oak Ridges Trail. The storm has caused tree debris along some sections of the trail. At this time, the trail remains open. However, users should be aware that not all sections have been inspected or cleared, and conditions may change daily as additional storm-related hazards may still emerge.

Please assist us by reporting any trail issues you encounter. You can provide GPS coordinates or use What3Words to pinpoint the location and send the information to trails@oakridgestrail.org.

Trail route changes will be posted on our website, and we encourage hikers to check for updates frequently.

As a reminder, trail users access the Oak Ridges Trail at their own risk, and all guided hikes are subject to the Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk. The Oak Ridges Trail Association cannot and does not guarantee the safety of the trail at any time.

Your cooperation is crucial in ensuring the safety and upkeep of our trails. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Stay safe,
Oak Ridges Trail Association
